WHO AM I?

  

Hi, I'm Hemant
 

I'm a Calisthenics athlete/coach by passion/profession and an Ex-financial analyst by profession. 

 

I have over 13 years of experience in fitness and over 7 years of specialized experience in bodyweight training including different aspects such as Calisthenics, movement/animal flow, capoeira and dance. I'm a certified bodyweight coach from ASFA and Calicerts.

  

Started my fitness journey in college as I was physically very weak. Fitness was a necessity for me as I faced challenges in my day to day life which were physical, mental and emotional. I started weight training in 2008 with a focus to build strength and transform my body.

 

I succeeded in that very well and transformed with good amount of muscle mass and strength.

 

In 2011, I wanted to explore more, Once I went deep into the fitness industry to enhance my transformation which led to the downfall of my health due to certain trainers who misguided me in the area of weight training and diet. I  had a huge impact on my health in 2013 which led to depression, anxiety and I lost all my strength and gains. I was back to square one!

  

But I have always been a hardworking and a focused person all my life. When I was struggling with depression and searching for how to recover fast, I came across bodyweight training also known as Calisthenics and started exploring the same. I developed a lifetime interest in Calisthenics and have been following the same since then.

I started my motivational fitness page based on Calisthenics, dance and bodyweight training on Instagram in 2016 (Username : Hemant_hkthenics) with a vision to help people to not get misguided as I did once and pursue their love.

 
I started the page to show my passion as I believed that I had achieved a level where I can share my experience and learning. I achieved a major following on Instagram with my skills and workout routines. I am well versed with bodyweight workouts, skills and specializes in explosive Calisthenics which involves plyometric movements of your body and also help in building great strength and explosiveness.
